Let's Face It!
The ultimate guide to finding your inner hero
*Assembly
Program*
When was the last time
you challenged yourself? Pushed through your anxiety to do something
you really
wanted
to do, even though it was hard for you? Facing things takes courage.
“Let’s Face It” is a dynamic, light-hearted and informative
program designed to give the audience tools to help them deal with
the challenges of being a child in today’s complicated world.
Kids today are faced with
many obstacles they must overcome. Learning to push
beyond their comfort zone to do something difficult
takes encouragement and practice. It’s the tools and
support we give them that determine if they will
step up and meet those challenges or take the easy
way out…in school, and in life.
Developed by child psychologist, Dr. Jennifer
Guttman, and performer/educator, John Fogarty, this
engaging program uses original songs, stories and
audience interaction to empower children to find
their “inner hero,” and help them face the fears and
challenges they experience in their everyday lives.
Every
child will be able to apply this program to his or
her own experiences, whether it’s learning to read,
attempting to climb the rope in gym, dealing with
the class bully, taking responsibility for homework,
or handling the many other social situations they
encounter.A-45
minute assembly. Two shows: Grades K-2 and Grades
3-6. Study guides available.
